#### Education

Stony Brook University - BS, Applied Mathematics and Statistics#### Experience

I am a recent graduate of Stony Brook University with a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. My concentration was in statistics and data analysis. I also worked as a teaching assistant during undergrad, and this was when I discovered my passion and skill for helping students understand math.I tutor many different levels of math, including calculus, statistics, algebra, arithmetic, and basic math. My main goal in tutoring is to help students understand why math is useful and important in our everyday lives. Many students don't get how the concepts taught in traditional math classes can apply to their lives, and this hinders them when they are truly trying to comprehend an idea. For this reason, I like to teach with real-world situations. Not only does this help students better grasp the concepts we are working with, it also helps them begin to intuitively understand math and all of the theories and proofs that are working behind it. In my opinion, this is the best way to give people a lasting appreciation and love for numbers. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy exercising, playing basketball, making music, and playing video games.#### Hobbies
