Education

I am a licensed elementary teacher. I am certified to teach general education and special education to students ages birth to sixth grade. I earned my undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College, I majored in child study and speech communications. I graduated as a dual major in May of 2012. I am currently enrolled in Touro College to complete my masters program in teaching English as a second language.

Experience

I am currently an elementary substitute teacher with the Lindenhurst School District. Due to my substitute experience I have had the pleasure of working with every grade. This gives me the opportunity to really help students working at every level. My desire is to see my students reach mastery using whatever methods work best for each individual student. I like to give my students real world experiences and use hands on teaching whenever possible. I want my students to be engaged and to have fun learning.

My name is Brianna and I would love to help your child succeed in school this year and in the future. I am a New York State certified experienced special/general education teacher for students birth to 6th grade. I can assist your child with reading or math difficulties, give them that extra practice they need to grasp the skill, or even teach completely new lessons to bring them to that mastery level. I assure you that your child will love coming to tutoring. I try to integrate real life situations into my lessons to make them hands on and fun.
